Update On TAWA's Life Drawing Class @ Artworks

Hi All,

TAWA's first First Life Drawing class was held this past Sunday at Artworks in Trenton.

There are still five more Sundays to participate and have the opportunity to Draw/Paint the human form from a live model.

The class starts at 10am and runs to 1 pm. Stroll in anytime.

It is very causual and Artworks has an amazing clearstory/building structure to light the models.

Look below for more information.

Florence Moonan's art will be included in Art Connections 7 Exhibiton

Dear Friends,

I am pleased to announce that my artwork will be included in Art

Connections 7 Exhibition and Fundraiser at Montclair State

University's George Segal Gallery. Emergere #2 has be selected by juror, Lisa Suss. An image of my artwork follows a copy of the

invitation.

Here's an excerpt from the official press release: "The event

showcases 126 up-and-coming and established artists from throughout

the continental U.S., with the majority from New Jersey. Now in its

seventh year, Art Connections has grown from a regional exhibition to one of national scope, and features such notable artists as sculptor

Chakaia Booker, painter Susan Marx, sculptor Tom Nussbaum, and

photographer Charles Bogusat. Prices for pieces range from $75-

$12,000 and all proceeds go to support collections at the George

Segal Gallery and the University’s permanent collection."

Hope your New Year is off to a good start.
