Two Day Clay Monoprinting

In a nurturing environment, students will learn the unique clay printmaking process developed in the early 70’s
by Mitch Lyons. Using a leather-hard clay slab, colored slips, and pigments, experienced and novice students will create textures, images, marks and layer colors on the matrix. Students will learn to “pull prints”.

A process where everyone succeeds, artists will experiment and experience the power of the clay printmaking process.
